AAG workshop report: Meeting diverse needs in regional and remote areas

On 5 November 2019, a workshop was held at the AAG Conference in Sydney, New South Wales exploring "Older people at the intersection: Meeting the diverse needs of older people who live in regional and remote areas".

This workshop was hosted by AAG's Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Special Interest Group (CALDSIG) and Regional, Rural and Remote Special Interest Group (RRRSIG).

The report from this workshop was launched by Rachel Winterton, Convenor of the Regional, Rural and Remote Special Interest Group (RRRSIG), on 19 November 2020 during her presentation "Trends associated with geographical location of health service access for older people in rural Australia" at the 2020 AAG Conference.
