2018-11 AAG and ANUHD Accessible Housing submissions

ABCB Accessible Housing Options Paper

In September 2018, the Australian Building Code Board’s (ABCB's) Accessible Housing Options Paper was released for public consultation. The Options Paper provides a preliminary menu of options and costings on the possible inclusion of a minimum accessibility standard for housing in the NCC.

The intention is to seek broader stakeholder input and refine the details of the objectives, options and terminology that will be considered in a formal Regulatory Impact Statement.

The ABCB Consultation Report is available here.
