Send us your ‘must see, hear, read’ ideas for 2021 NAIDOC Week

The 2021 NAIDOC Week theme ‘Heal Country!’ calls for stronger measures to recognise, protect, and maintain all aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage.

Building on this and in celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s contributions, AAG is putting together a ‘must see, hear, read’ AAG member recommendations list and need your help. What are your favourite books, albums, productions etc by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, authors, content producers, performers and other endeavours that you think are a ‘must’ for everyone to engage with? Tag us on Twitter @gerontologyau with your ideas for others to see during NAIDOC week 2021 and/or send your recommendations to Ellen at efinlay@aag.asn.au

The 2021 NAIDOC Week runs from 4 to 11 July. The artwork ‘Care for Country’ was designed by Gubbi Gubbi artist Maggie-Jean Douglas. For more information about NAIDOC events near you visit https://www.naidoc.org.au/get-involved/naidoc-week-events

You can save yourself up to $330 on the Conference registration if you take advantage of the Super Early Bird rate – Extension which closes on 8th of July 2021. While you’re at it, become a member when you register for the conference if you haven’t already.
