Q+A: Spotlight on Aged Care

ABC TV’s Q+A has a Spotlight on Aged Care on Thursday February 25th at 8.30pm and subsequently on iView.

On the eve of the final report of the Royal Commission into Aged Care, Q+A asks are we failing our older citizens?

Panellists include:

~ Katie Allen, Liberal Member for Higgins

~ Clare O'Neil, Shadow Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care Services

~ Mike Baird, CEO of Hammond Care and Former NSW Premier

~ Jane Halton, Health expert and former head of Australia’s Finance Department and

~ Joseph Ibrahim, Professor at the Department of Forensic Medicine, Monash University

2021 IAGG World Pre-Congress eConference

Save the date for the 2021 IAGG World Pre-Congress eConference – it runs from the 22nd to 23rd June 2021. This pre-Congress event follows the delay of the 2021 IAGG World Congress to 2022 due to Covid-19.

The digital Conference has an early bird of US$120 for delegates and US$60 for students until May 19 2021. We will keep you informed through the AAG Thursday3 of more information regarding the presenters and program, as well as when the registration opens.

The 2021 IAGG World Pre-Congress eConference is being jointly organised by the International Association of Gerontology (IAGG), the Argentine Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics (SAGG) and the Gerontological Association of Argentina (AGA) .

The 22nd IAGG World Congress will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from the 16-22 June 2022.
