Relevance of Grandparenting in Modern Families

The AAG NSW Division and COTA NSW invites you to their forum 'The Relevance of Grandparenting in Modern Families' presented by experts including internationally renowned researcher and speaker Professor Norah Keating from Canada.

At the forum you will cover the place of grandparenting in the lives of older persons today, the roles grandparents play in families and why older people are so often relegated to the sidelines in discussions about families and family relationships. In addition, the role of grandparenting in helping with child care and in raising grandchildren will be addressed and you'll hear from a grandmother who raised 7 children.
