Symposium on Social Connection in Older Age - Vic

Social isolation is a greater health risk than smoking

AAG Collaborative Research Centre, Bolton Clarke (the new face of RDNS and RSL Care) and AAG Vic invite you to a symposium.

Gerard Mansour, the Victorian Commissioner for Seniors, will open the day.
Other speakers include Dr Catherine Barrett, Dr Michelle Lim, Mr Matiu Bush, Dr Rajna Ogrin, Dr Alana Hewitt and Mr Barry Golding.

Registration is now open for the inaugural Symposium on Social Connection in Older Age in Melbourne.

Hosted by Bolton Clarke, the symposium will include presentations by policy makers, researchers, service providers and community groups working to prevent or reduce social isolation and loneliness among older Australians.

We invite community members, academics, service stakeholders, policy makers, peak groups,
and anyone interest in social connectedness in older age to attend this collaborative forum.

To help us spread the word, please share this with others who are interested in this important topic.
