Symposium on Social Connection in Older Age - QLD
Social isolation is a greater health risk than smoking
AAG Collaborative Research Centre, Bolton Clarke (the new face of RDNS and RSL Care) and AAG QLD invite you to a symposium.
Confirmed speakers include Professor Cath Haslam, Associate Professor Genevieve Dingle,
Mr Mark Tucker-Evans, Mr Matiu Bush and Dr Rajna Ogrin
Registration is now open for the inaugural Symposium on Social Connection in Older Age in Brisbane.
Hosted by Bolton Clarke, the symposium will include presentations by policy makers, researchers, service providers and community groups working to prevent or reduce social isolation and loneliness among older Australians.
We invite community members, academics, service stakeholders, policy makers, peak groups,
and anyone interest in social connectedness in older age to attend this collaborative forum.
