Cutting Edge Ageing Research From UTAS PhD candidates and early career researchers
This event will feature some of Tasmania’s emerging researchers presenting cutting edge research on ageing. One early career researcher and three PhD candidates will share their research which spans a wide range of topics: from changes in functioning for people in nursing homes to enriched environments for mice with Alzheimer's disease.
This event will include presentations from 4:00pm to 5:00pm followed by networking, wine and cheese from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Attending this event gives you an opportunity to
- Explore issues outside your day-to-day primary focus
- Develop your own network with Tasmania’s research community and health professionals interested in ageing issues.
- Support Tasmania’s emerging gerontology researchers
