2021 Glenda Powell Travelling Fellow
Professor Arbon is the Director of the Torrens Resilience Institute and Professor of Nursing (Population Health) at Flinders University. He is Past President of the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine, former Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Flinders University, a member the International Health Regulations Roster of Experts, Member of the World Health Organisation, Health Security Interface, Technical Advisory Group, Editorial Board Member of the disaster health journal Pre Hospital and Disaster Medicine.
Paul’s current research includes disaster resilience through community capacity and organisational capacity building and is a perfect fit to deliver our 2021 Hot Topic, Disasters and resilience.
We are grateful and proud that Paul has accepted and will conduct sessions in 2021.

In light of the travel restrictions and public health imperatives associated with the COVID-19 pandemic once again for 2021, the first event to be hosted by AAG NSW Division had to pivot to an online format. Thank you Paul for being accommodating to deliver online.
