2021 Glenda Powell Travelling Fellow

Professor Paul Arbon is the 2021 Glenda Powell Travelling Fellow who will present on the 2021 Hot Topic, Disasters and Resilience. 

Professor Arbon is the Director of the Torrens Resilience Institute and Professor of Nursing (Population Health) at Flinders University. He is Past President of the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine, former Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Flinders University, a member the International Health Regulations Roster of Experts, Member of the World Health Organisation, Health Security Interface, Technical Advidsory Group, Editorial Board Member of the disaster health journal Pre Hospital and Disaster Medicine.

Paul’s current research includes disaster resilience through community capacity and organisational capacity building and is a perfect fit to deliver our 2021 Hot Topic, Disasters and resilience.
