Expressions of Interest for AAG SECG Working Groups for 2021

The evolving nature of student and early career membership means that we are regularly looking to encourage members to take on a more active role within the national committee of the AAG SECG. If you are keen to gain experience in the workings of a national association and generally meet lots of wonderful people, then now is the time to submit your interests.

There are three active working groups within the national committee, which each have a working group leader. These groups are involved in:

~ National conference: Planning student and early career specific events for AAG national conference.

~ Professional Development and Events: Develop and deliver webinars and professional development opportunities for SECG members and the wider AAG community.

~ Communications: Developing the social media and other communication strategies of the SECG.

Each of these working groups has a leader, who is part of the national SECG executive, along with the SECG President. There are currently opportunities to join across all of these groups for 2021, so you are encouraged to consider submitting an expression of interest to join us on an SECG committee.

If you would like further information or would like to discuss what is involved in committee membership, please don’t hesitate to contact me on the details below.

You can submit your expression of interest by completing the online form with your details and a brief summary about yourself and your interest and experience in this role of no more than 200 words.

Nominations close on Monday 19th December 2020. You will be advised of the outcome of your nomination as soon as possible after this date.

We look forward to welcoming you onto the AAG SECG Committee.

Regards,

Dr Rachel Ambagtsheer
