AAG is the only Australian organisation with the over-arching aim of improving the experience of ageing by connecting research, policy and practice and facilitating a multi-disciplinary approach to ageing. Beyond our national role, we take evidence, expertise and insights to the international stage. We do this through collaboration, partnerships and reciprocal memberships with other peak organisations.
AAG’s member organisations benefit from international representation on the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG), ILC-Aus and ILC Global Alliance. Represented by AAG, member organisations have access to a large, dynamic community which offers collaboration, expertise and funding, with representation at the highest levels.
