AAG's vision is a world where every person is valued, heard, seen and respected as we age. Its purpose is to build a community of experts connecting evidence and experience to inform and influence decisions related to ageing.
The AAG Research Trust is the grant-giving arm of AAG. Through its grant programs, the Research Trust supports new and experienced researchers and practitioners to develop careers in ageing. By enabling important work that often falls outside the criteria of other large government or institutional funding programs, the Research Trust promotes AAG's fundamental commitment to improving the experience of ageing by connecting research, policy and practice.
All of our grant programs have been made possible by generous donations and bequests, and through strategic partnerships with organisations such as The Dementia Australia Research Foundation.
Funds donated to the Research Trust are used for innovative projects that cross traditional, professional and disciplinary boundaries, and explicitly aim to change policy and practice in the broad space of ageing.
Please consider making a donation or leaving a bequest to the Research Trust. Your gift, however large or small, will help to improve the experience of ageing for all Australians.
You can make a one-off donation right now, set up a monthly donation or talk to us about leaving a gift in your will. You will receive a tax receipt for any donation over $2.00, which you can use to claim a deduction at tax time.
We welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your wishes and show you the valuable work being supported by the AAG Research Trust. For more information please contact us at [email protected].
