Suzanne’s PhD tested the utility of the Wenger Practitioner Assessment of Network Type in the East Gippsland region of Australia and found it to be a robust assessment tool of social support for older Victorians living in rural and regional communities. This research is important because older people with more limited access to social support are often more vulnerable to poorer health outcomes.
