Professor Jenny Waycott

Jenny Waycott is a Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne, where she leads the Design for Ageing research group. Professor Waycott leads interdisciplinary research projects that investigate how older adults engage with technology, particularly in aged care and community settings, and how technologies can be designed and used to support wellbeing, identity, and social connection in later life. This work uses qualitative and participatory methods to inform inclusive and ethical design. Professor Waycott chairs the technology subcommittee of the AAG Victoria branch.

Professor Chris Bain

Dr Chris Bain is the inaugural Professor of Practice in Digital Health in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University. He has more than 35 years of experience in the health industry, including 12 years in clinical medicine. He's led numerous software development and implementation projects in the health industry and works with many faculties and Institutes across the University, as well as with a range of health industry partners, in leading the Monash efforts in Digital Health. He is considered a global thought leader in his field.
