Communication
Students recognise the importance of communication. Key elements of this communication are:

Regular contributions of material for the Student Space section of the Australian Association of Gerontology quarterly national newsletter - Establishing and operating a student network Listserve/ Mailing List for communication with the wider group of student members
- Regular updating of student email lists
- Review of options for a web-based student forum
Developing a system of mentoring is a priority task for the Student Section but is still in the preliminary stages of development
Emerging Researchers in Ageing Conference
The Student Section of the Australian Association of Gerontology has strong links with the Emerging Researchers in Ageing Conference (ERA), which has been held annually since 2002.
