SA Gerontology Conference 2012



The 13th annual SA Gerontology Conference will be presented by the SA Division of the Australian Association of Gerontology at the National Wine Centre, Adelaide on Friday 14th September 2012. 

This conference will bring together a wide range of people with an interest in ageing and offers a great opportunity to share innovative work and recent knowledge in this field.

Speakers include:

  • Social Commentator Eva Cox
  • Associate Professor Michael Fine
  • Dr Leon Earle
  • Professor Julie Byles

The AAG is Australia's largest multidisciplinary professional association of people working in the diverse fields of ageing. Its members include a broad range of health professionals, researchers from the social and medical sciences, government sector staff, providers and staff of aged care services, and older people themselves.

REGISTRATION

Online registration will be available from early May 2012. We will once again be offering the 10th registration from any organisation or partnership as a free ticket.

LATEST NEWS

With this year's theme centering around the concept of journeys it was inspirational to combine this with the ageing odyssey. We hope you join us on the journey to September 14. We know there will be a few hazards to negotiate on the way but we are pretty confident that the conference will once again be a success.

Pricing for the conference remains exactly the same as 2011 and offers fantastic value for money especially for AAG members

2012 CONFERENCE THEME

The SA Gerontology Conference endeavours to theme conferences in a way that continues to fulfill the objectives of the Australian Association of Gerontology.

In 2012 the conference theme will be: 2012 An Ageing Odyssey; It's all about the journey

The SA Conference Committee has a proven reputation for innovation and creativity in developing both themes and supporting images and logos for its conferences. We spend much time in the development and design to ensure that delegates have a new experience each year.
