Ageing Research Online

Ageing Research Online (ARO) is a major outcome of the Building Ageing Research Capacity (BARC) Initiative. ARO is a website funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and managed by the Office for an Ageing Australia. ARO provides a clearinghouse of ageing-related research being conducted across Australia. Researchers are able to enter data about their projects directly into the Research Directory. The site has a Course Directory with information about ageing-related educational courses and a Grants Directory with information about ageing-related research grants. The website also has access to newsletters, a noticeboard, and a range of other features.

The AAG strongly encourages its members to register information about their work with the ARO, as it is a significant resource to help in the fostering, dissemination and application of ageing-related research.
