Evonne is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Design at Queensland University of Technology. She has a BCom (Marketing Management) and BA(Hons) and PhD in Psychology from the University of Otago in New Zealand. As a social psychologist, Evonne has interests and expertise in social gerontology, social sustainability, community engagement and behaviour change. Her ageing-related research activities focus on active ageing, retirement village living, quality of life, body image and physical activity. Evonne is also currently the National Honorary Secretary of the AAG.
