The AAG NSW Division Executive is drawn from nominees who volunteer their services. Because of their past or current employment they provide expertise in most aspects of gerontology. These include aged care and rehabilitation medicine, aged care psychiatry, academic research, tertiary education, workplace education, community education, industry and community associations, service delivery organisations, government policy advice and administration.
The Executive Committee meets regularly to plan and arrange educational and other activities for members, including publication of an occasional newsletter NSW Notes.

AAG NSW also has a Chapter in the Hunter Region, which operates in partnership with Hunter Ageing Research (HAR), a consortium of people interested in research in ageing. At their bi-monthly meetings HAR presents recent research and the AAG Chapter holds a business meeting. Link to NSW Hunter Chapter here ...
